English soccer star Michelle Agyemang, darts player Luke Littler and cricket star Davina Perrin have been shortlisted for the 2025 Young Sports Star of the Year award.

The trio have been honoured for their outstanding achievements over the previous year.

Agyemang helped the Lionesses claim victory in Euro 2025, Littler secured the world title for the first time, and Perrin surged to prominence with a record-breaking innings.

Littler was the recipient in 2024 after his remarkable rise.

The finalists were unveiled on a popular morning radio program.

The champion will be unveiled on the annual sports awards show on December 18th.

The ceremony will be televised from 7 PM GMT.

Agyemang's Profile

Age: 19 Sport: Football

Just three months after her international debut, Agyemang played a dramatic and decisive role in England's run to European Championship victory.

She was introduced as a substitute to score key tying goals in both the last eight and last four matches.

These match-saving moments led to her being named the tournament's top young talent.

Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl trophy for the finest emerging star on the continent.

She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the global standout among U21 women.

Agyemang, who has been playing for Brighton on loan from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October.

"Being nominated for this honour is incredible," said Agyemang. "Thank you to God and I'm appreciative of the support I've received from my inner circle and supporters."

Littler's Profile

Age: 18 Sport: Darts

The year started for Littler in spectacular fashion as - at just 17 years old - he became the youngest darts world champion in history.

He secured a comprehensive triumph over Michael van Gerwen in the final.

His later win at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.

His success continued - his win in November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he climbed to world number one for the first time.

At 18, he is the most youthful player to do so, breaking the previous record.

"To receive a nomination for the honour once more is a big honour," stated Littler. "Winning last year was a highlight for me and I've had another incredible 12 months. I want to continue raising the profile of darts."

Davina Perrin

Age: 19 Sport: Cricket

Perrin is one of English cricket's brightest emerging stars and burst into the spotlight with an unbelievable and unprecedented innings in August.

Her magnificent 42-ball century in The Hundred is the quickest ever by an English female in T20s.

It also stands as the joint third-fastest women's T20 century in a top-tier competition.

Perrin ended up as runner-up in the batting rankings and was named PCA Women's Young Player of the Year.

"I'm incredibly grateful to be nominated for the Young Sports Personality of the Year award," expressed Perrin. "This is phenomenal. I hope it inspires more young women to get into cricket."
