HBO's It Spinoff Releases Second Sooner Than Planned on HBO's Digital Service
Excitement is building for the Stephen King adaptation the Derry series, which is earning acclaim and drawing from references from additional King stories. Just one day after launch, the network has revealed that episode two will debut sooner than expected, timed perfectly for October 31st.

Starting on the last day of October at midnight PT, episode two of the Derry prequel will launch on the streaming service, ahead of its linear broadcast. Future chapters of the series run will be released on Sunday nights on both HBO and its streaming arm, leading up to the season finale on Sunday, December 14.

Set in the world of King's It, the new series borrows elements from King’s iconic novel while expanding on the universe realized by director Andy Muschietti in the recent movie adaptations. The first It movie centered on young characters facing supernatural evils, so it’s fitting that this show follows in those footsteps.
